ca. 34 x 34 x 26.5 cm

The piece is inspired by Van Gogh’s painting “Wheatfield with Crows, 1890” (Licensing from Van Gogh Museum of Amsterdam).

Van Gogh considered gold wheat as a source of “health and vitality”. In this work, he painted in a free style to integrate the four colors blue, red, green and golden as a great symphony of life. The Franz designer transformed the round vase as a canvas. The scenery is sculpted in 3-D on the vase, showing the magnificent view of the sky and the land from 360 degrees. The golden wheat field and the blue sky are revived with fine touch, expressing the vitality of his work.
